Introduction to services
Hi, I am Adam and welcome to my counselling & wellbeing services. I am a registered counsellor & NLP practitioner.
As well as offering counselling services from Rochford & remotely, I provide NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), coaching and solution focused therapy.
Please take your time to read about my background and the work that I do to decide whether it seems like a good fit for your needs.
My approach to counselling
I am an integrative qualified counsellor based in Rochford, which means that I am trained in a number of different psychological approaches and techniques which I tailor to your individual needs.
I am able to support you with circumstances that you are challenged by in the past, present or future. You can find out more about areas that I support here. The most important thing is that you get the most appropriate and effective support for what you need. Within this, when working with me, you will be dealing with a human being, who is down to earth, knowledgeable and competent in the support you require.
The therapeutic relationship is integral in counselling as it presents a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in matters that may be sensitive and too difficult to face alone. That is why I will be honest, non-judgmental, and respectful to you throughout our time together.
As well as being traditionally trained, I have developed my own learning and awareness in working with more contemporary matters and approaches in line with the modern day. An example of this is that I am further qualified in online and telephone based counselling. This adapts the benefits and skill set of "in the room" therapy into online and phone based environment so that the level of service & experience is not compromised.
I am a great advocate of the benefits of counselling. I too, found myself in situations within my life where I felt it necessary to get support and found it life changing. I was so impressed with the process & its benefits that I studied hard and became a counsellor myself.
